We were there to look at sedimentary structures in the rocks.
We saw ripple marks, which are made by waves on a beach:
And potholes, from a pebble in a river:
And we studied the glacial end moraines that made the lake in the mountains:
Finally, my favorite: cross-bedding. That's from waves moving sand.
